Job Description: IT and Communication Coordinator (Rabat)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
IT Tasks
- Assisting the staff in the use of IT equipment and software
- Troubleshoots and resolves problems encountered with hardware and software
- IT equipment maintenance including computers, printers, scanners, smart phones…etc
- Operating system maintenance; Windows, Mac OS, Chrome OS
- Software installation and updating
Communication tasks
- Managing social media accounts
- Adding content to social media accounts, according to an editorial policy
- Monitoring press and electronic media and drafting news updates
Qualifications:
For IT
- IT Technician’s Degree
- Two (2) years of demonstrated experience in help desk or IT maintenance support
- Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office for both, PC and Mac
- Advanced Knowledge of Google+ and Google Drive
For Communications
- Strong analytical skills in politics
- Understanding of Moroccan politics
- Ability to provide oral and written communication clearly in French, English and Arabic
- Ability to work in a political situation in a nonpartisan manner
General
- Good interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of NDI staff
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours
- Knowledge of database management an asset
- Website programming experience an asset
- Graphic design skills an asset
