Food Services Manager to oversee the ECA cafeteria

 

We are looking for a Food Services Manager to oversee the ECA cafeteria, as well as our American Club restaurant. You will be in charge of overall cafeteria and restaurant operations, from developing your team and overseeing financials to ensuring that our US Embassy customers have the best possible dining experience. If you have the qualifications and the friendly and outgoing personality we’re looking for, we want to hear from you!
Job Requirements As a Food Services Manager, you must be self-motivated and energetic with a confident leadership style. It is important that you have excellent verbal and written communication skill, a commitment to customer service, superior interpersonal skills and the ability to present a professional image at all times.

 

Specific qualifications for the Restaurant Manager position include:

  • Minimum 2 years restaurant, casual dining and/or cafeteria experience
  • Fluency in English, and either Arabic or French
  • Exceptional analytic, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to train and motivate a cohesive team
  • Good organizational, time-management and planning skills
  • Familiarity with restaurant equipment
  • Familiarity with appropriate restaurant cash handling procedures
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Point of Sale systems
