Communication officer

 Organizational Context

The National Programme Officer (NPO) will work under the overall guidance of the UNFPA Representative and in close collaboration and coordination with the UNFPA team in Rabat. He/she will contribute substantively to the formulation and implementation of the UNFPA Country Office’s Advocacy and Communication strategy as well as communication activities of UNFPA-supported programmes. The NPO also contributes to the work of the UN Communication Group.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Academic Requirements: Advanced university degree in Communication, Journalism or related Social Sciences.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in communication with a background and interest in the social development and related policy matters.

Languages: Fluency in oral and written Arabic and French, working knowledge of English.

Computer skills: Proficiency in usage of computer, current office software packages, software relevant for publishing and use of social media for communication.
