USAID recrute Development Assistance Specialist
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in Rabat is seeking an individual for the position of Development Assistance Specialist (Democracy and Governance.)
BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION:
This position is located in USAID/Morocco, Democracy and Governance Office (DG). The incumbent will participate in and support the management and coordination of activities within DG; will represent USAID in working level meetings, and, at that level, will speak and/or make presentations on behalf of the Agency; will advise superiors on the implications of political and social developments on the DG programs; will establish and maintain working level contacts on behalf of USAID with the GoM, the private sector, other donors, non-governmental organizations, universities, and research institutions; will assist Mission Management, the DG Office , and visiting officials in public meetings , events, field trips, and discussions with Moroccan officials and implementing partners; will draft technical documentation and analyses needed to develop strategy and program design, will monitor ongoing programs, and will prepare performance reports, briefing papers, concept papers, and other periodic documentation for the Mission, USAID/Washington, and other USG stakeholders.
