Under the overall guidance of the UNFPA Representative and the direct supervision of the Assistant Representative, the National Programme Analyst(NPA) substantively contributes to the effective management of UNFPA supported programmesin the areas of reproductive health, with special focus on maternal health and adolescent and youth reproductive health.

He/she monitors and analyzes relevant political, social and economic trends and provides substantive inputs to inform UNFPA Morocco’s actions and its programme formulationin order to assist the country to realize the universal access to Reproductive Health. The NPA guides and facilitates the delivery of the UNFPA Country Programme (CP) within the context of the United Nations Development Framework (UNDAF) and relevant sectoral, thematic and national development framework. He/she monitors progress and results, and ensures the appropriate application of systems and procedures.

The NPA establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with national counterparts, multi lateral and bi-lateral donor agencies and civil society in order to jointly contribute to achieving the Plan of Action of the International Conference on Population and Development(ICPD) and the MilleniumDevelopment Goals. The NPA is a substantive contributor to the Programme team in the UNFPA Country Office, and to Thematic Group and Working Groups in the UN Country Team.
